The performance hall in New Taipei City Art Center was designed and built by architect Kao-Er Pan in 1983. After many renovations, the ceiling height above the stage area is now 21 meters, where large screens and stage sets can be stowed. The stage is 14.85 meters wide and 8.3 meters high. The performance hall has a total of 750 seats along with 4 accessible environments. In addition, there are acoustic panels, chorus stage, band stage, and a dressing room.
